Bleeding Edge Versions

To retrieve this from Subversion, use the following command (Linux, bash):

Python 2.6:

svn checkout http://svn.python.org/projects/stackless/branches/release26-maint/

This branch is considered usable and reliable. If it is possible, it is recommended that it is used instead of the latest 2.6 tag. Stackless is stable and the only changes to it are bug fixes. The changes made to this branch over and above the last release tag will be verified fixes to reproducible problems.

Python 2.7:

svn checkout http://svn.python.org/projects/stackless/branches/release27-maint/

This branch is considered usable and reliable. Stackless is stable and the only changes to it are bug fixes. The changes made to this branch over and above the last release tag will be verified fixes to reproducible problems.

Python 3.1:

svn checkout http://svn.python.org/projects/stackless/branches/release31-maint/

This branch is considered usable and reliable. Stackless is stable and the only changes to it are bug fixes. The changes made to this branch over and above the last release tag will be verified fixes to reproducible problems.

Python 3.2:

svn checkout http://svn.python.org/projects/stackless/branches/release32-maint/

This branch is considered usable and reliable. Stackless is stable and the only changes to it are bug fixes. The changes made to this branch over and above the last release tag will be verified fixes to reproducible problems.

In Case Of Problems

If you are unable to access the subversion repository because of a firewall or other related networking problems, you should be able to download tarballs of the source code from the download page.
